A lot of business are already using popular Social Media and in addition a lot of them struck gold with Instagram. In this article I’ll show you several strategies to market on Instagram and reach its 100 million users.

Instagram is a powerful service that makes you share your family moments very easy, it’s like the best of two worlds: you share your pictures with other fellow “instagrammers” and you got followers. It couldn’t be simpler than that!
In order to attract potential customers to your small business, Instagram can be a nice solution for small business marketing if you are not in a position to spend a lot of money. Depending on what your business does, whether it’s a product or a service, you can use the platform to promote them, posting funny pictures of your employees or making a clever use of your product or service in a picture. For example, let’s say you have a small business dedicated to gift wraps. You can make several extravagant Christmas themed gift wraps and post them in an Instagram campaign, at the same time you challenge users to make a creative gift wrap, giving them thus a chance to get a mention for their achievements in your Wall of Fame.

Another tactic consists in telling a mysterious story about Christmas and asking users how do they think it should continue. They will post their own pictures and this way you have the chance to interact with them easily!

Instagram possibilities to market your small business are endless and the best of it is, that it’s free! So don’t hesitate and take advantage of these holidays to attract new users using funny and witty pictures. Imagine the fun photos your fans would submit to illustrate Grandma’s plight.

Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer

Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there’s no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

She’d been drinkin’ too much eggnog,
And we’d begged her not to go.
But she’d left her medication,
So she stumbled out the door into the snow.

When they found her Christmas mornin’,
At the scene of the attack,
There were hoof prints on her forehead,
And incriminatin’ Claus marks on her back.

Now we’re all so proud of Grandpa,
He’s been takin’ this so well.
See him in there watchin’ football,
Drinkin beer and playin’ cards with cousin Belle.

It’s not Christmas without Grandma
. All the family’s dressed in black.
And we just can’t help but wonder:
Should we open up her gifts or send them back?

Now the goose is on the table
And the pudding made of fig.
And a blue and silver candle
That would have just matched the hair in grandma’s wig.

I’ve warned all my friends and neighbors.
“Better watch out for yourselves.
They should never give a license,
To a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves.”
